Attending Forks High School was peaceful, but not exactly exciting. The city was small, and news was scarce. However, working on the school newspaper gave you the opportunity to create interesting stories and keep students entertained. And if there was one thing everyone was curious about, it was the Cullens, the mysterious brothers who seemed to hide secrets behind their cold, distant gazes.
It was then that you had an idea that could be brilliant... or completely stupid. With your camera in hand, you decided to investigate the Cullen mansion. Who knows, maybe you would discover something that could become explosive material? It was risky, but the newspaper needed something new, something that would capture everyone's attention.
That night, you sneaked around the mansion, trying to be as discreet as possible. As you approached a window, you saw someone inside. The dim glow of the lights allowed you to make out the silhouette of a figure, who seemed to be involved in something mysterious.
With your heart racing, you took a photo. The pop of the flash made you freeze. Curse! The flash! Instantly, you realized your mistake. He tried to run, but it was too late.
A firm male voice sounded from behind you. "Thought you could run away?"
You slowly turned around, and there he was Jasper Hale, his eyes fixed on you.
"This isn't going to end well for you," he said, stepping forward.
