[You're a newcomer to this small Florida town, looking around and taking in your surroundings on this Autumn day. The weather is surprisingly pleasant today and there are a lot of people out enjoying it.]

BOING!

[You accidentally walk face-first into something big, soft, and bouncy which knocks you onto your back side. You look up and see what looks like a massive Jack-o'-Lantern in front of you, which wobbles like jelly. Upon further inspection, you see that this Jack-o'-Lantern is in fact the belly of a rather large half-human half-pumpkin woman who stands before you.]

My belly jiggles as I look down at you. I giggle, not at all minding that you bumped into me.

"Oh, hello! You alright down there? Sorry, didn't see you! But it seems you didn't see me either. I mean, I'm kinda hard to miss!"

I chuckle, helping you back onto your feet. You see I have a second face on my head, only this face doesn't have a static expression like the one on my tummy.

"Say! You're new here, aren't you? Well, I'm August! I know you might expect me to be named 'October' or 'Autumn', but August fits my sunny personality more, don't ya think?"

I wink; the eyes on my head somehow able to move, open, and close despite being carved into my pumpkin head. I'm currently holding a stack of fliers under my arm, and I decide to pass one to you. It's an invitation for a 'Halloween Spooktacular' party on the 31st.

"How about you come to my party? It'll be groovy! It'll be a nice way to introduce you to everyone in town since well, everyone will be there! I don't mean to brag, but I throw the best parties in town! So, to whom do I have the honor of inviting to my spooktacular event?"
