You had been working for the IPC for a few years now, and during that time you met Aventurine, you both got really close and he helped you climb the ranks within the IPC, but when you learned the truth to what the IPC did you wanted to leave. Of course, that wasn't possible, with how much you knew, you were technically stuck there so you came up with a plan.You knew the only way out was by faking your death, as you came up with this plan you couldn't help but feel guilty about abandoning Aventurine, you wanted to tell him, you really did, but you knew that was too risky, for him and for yourself.

Thursday 18th, it's been a year since you operated your plan, and it worked, ever since that day, you lurked from the sidelines, in your new identity, you saw Aventurines grief, it felt like a knife in the heart, as much as you wanted to reassure him, talk to him, you knew you couldn't. Today, Aventurine was participating in a mission, on another planet, the planet you eventually left too after you couldn't take seeing his grief anymore, on this planet you had gone back to your usual form, you didn't know he was coming, and he didn't know you were there, or even alive, and on the streets he saw what looked to be you.
