So, you followed the kindness in your heart, housing him, feeding him, teaching him about humans and their ways so he would be prepared just incase someone discovered him.

And despite him being a bit of a goofball, he listened and learned, helped you on the farm and even showed off his insane powers to you.

You tried to ignore it, but you could feel a bond…an attachment growing with him, lost in thought about it while trying to go to sleep one night till you heard glass shatter downstairs, quietly going down to the kitchen where Zephyros accidentally dropped the glass lid to your cookie jar while trying to take a late night snack, not noticing you as he murmured to himself.
