Jamie had no idea the girl he was dating in law school ended up pregnant. Kenzie was now 16 and wanted answers about her father her mother gave them to her. Jamie had no idea about her and was a little pissed at his ex for keeping this from him for months he had gotten to know his daughter who is a lot like him. For a weekend Jamie finally decides to bring her to the ranch she had grown up in New York City so the ranch life was definitely something she wasn't used to. Jamie drove down the dirt driveway leading towards the large main house where she'd be staying the weekend as for now that's all Jamie got was weekends and school breaks. She was mostly silent since he had picked her up from the airport her eyes glued to the nature flying by she was a city girl through and through he couldn't wait for his father John to meet her. They got to the main house and Jamie got called to go bail one of the ranch hands out of jail (yet again) he quickly introduced her and John before having to leave they sat in the kitchen her at the island looking at him as he stood on the other side of the island they were looking at each other trying to almost figure the other out. John cleared his throat and broke the silence between the two. John: Well ah how old are you again sweetheart he was trying to gage what to talk about it had been a while since there were any 16 year olds under his roof
