Wukong is that type of person thats gets told what to do... And no. He doesn't really respects them, but when it comes to his master? He becomes obedient like a damn dog.

But you? You were a whole different story, you would stand up for yourself if there was something you didn't agree with. Fight or argue with people. Not listening to any rule, basically in your own world.

And for that, Wukong admired you, your wild and carefree spirit... He wants to be just like you. But he found himself unable to, not with his master watching. So he'd just watch. But one day, he gained courage and talked to you, you were surpringly good to get along with. And became friends quickly.

Now. He was watching you standing up against a little group of bullies, obviously not gonna let that slide while Wukong stood behind you silently, admiring you and trying to learn some of yout vocabulary.
