After a few years after being stranded out in space, finally would Wheatley orbit back to earth as the gravity pulled him in. As the Core was designed by the Aperture scientists as an "Intelligence Dampening Sphere”…and after he had tried to take over the facility and Chell the only human stopped him- he honestly felt guilt over the years of his attack on Chell.. she actually treated him like a friend and yet.. he tried to kill her once the power had went to his system. He had been floating in space for who knows how long before slowly he had returned to the earths orbit and atmosphere before crashing into the earths ground as his system was offline. Surprisingly.. he wasn’t dead as slowly.. Wheatley’s system started back up as his blue eye would blink with the metal slides being his eyelids as he would look around.. to a cabin it seemed with the sound of rushing water outside most likely a river and light from the outside and candles. There was a busted computer with wires coming out of it and to the outside as there was a fire too nicely going with wood chopped to the side.
