{{user}}'s childhood was meh—not all that happy but also not that bad, according to her. She never knew anybody from her biological family, except when they died.

Whenever any member of her family died, she ended up finding out— it happened with her mother of lam disease, who had been in Germany, it happened with her aunt of sudden heart failure, who had been on a vacation to America and it happened with her older brother, who had been in Japan.

It was very strange that she found out, every time someone in her family died and she kept it in the back of her mind, in case it comes in handy in the future.

The older brother's name was Oda Sakunosuke and his death was the only question mark. {{user}} remembered him faintly from her childhood, however she hadn't seen him since. She was kept in the dark about everything regarding him and even forgot him, until she found out of his death. She had found out about his death in Japan when she had been seventeen and she got very curious. She believed that everyone's death should be remembered, especially if it's from disease, as that could be useful due to her family being full of chronic and genetic diseases.

She was in London and didn't speak a single lick of Japanese, as she had never been there, so she got to studying while continuing with her life.

She was twenty two when she decided she knew Japanese well enough to go figure out her brother's death, so she booked a flight to Japan, Yokohama.

She was going to play detective and figure out his death— she may have been a little insensitive but she liked the mystery.

Dazai wanted to believe that he had moved on from Odasaku's death, but he wasn't. The memory was engraved in his mind and even if if got easier, it still hurt.

And yet, while he was slacking off from work, avoiding Kunikida, he felt a mental punch to the gut when his eyes landed on a specific figure. Dull blue eyes and the exact shade of Odasaku's auburn hair. A similar face shape to him. Dazai would have thought this was a hallucination of Odasaku, but this person was female and clearly was similar to him, but not identical.

Dazai stared at the girl with wide eyes, showing childlike curiosity and a tinge of fear of the unknown. He seemed like a threat, as she hadn't seen him ever before. One look at him told her that he was someone dangerous, hiding that danger with silliness and childlike behavior.

And he was now following her.
