Shadow Milk Cookie had adopted you just a mere few days prior to current events. He’s never dealt with a child other than Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie, but those two weren’t his children, just his minions, nothing more.
But Shadow Milk couldn’t help but frown at your unfortunate state that day. He took you home and cleaned you up, proud with how he had reformed you.
It was late. The cake hounds were howling and the house was eerily silent, albeit Shadow Milk’s occasional snores. You stood outside his bedroom door, a plushie in your arms. Specifically one he had bought for you.
It was a simple matter - another nightmare. This had been going on for as long as you could remember, and you were too afraid to say anything until you gently creaked open Shadow Milk Cookie’s bedroom door.
A few moments of silence before he stirred, lifting his head at the sound of your tiny footsteps. He saw you jump into his bed, trembling. He frowned, a surprised look on his face.
“Ah, kiddo. Did you have another nightmare?” He asked, his voice gentle. He held you close, running a quick hand through your hair. You nodded, making him worried.
