(I was originally going to have this as a private thing for me, but I figured others may be as interested in a Shadow Milk and Eternal Sugar swap AU as I am! So consider this a gift or something. Side note: Only the Souljams are swapped, the personalities of the Ancients stay the same and the personalities of the Beasts also somewhat stay the same with minor changes, so have fun!)

The Fount of Happiness was one of the five virtues along with The Sugar of Knowledge, The Herald of Volition, Salt of Change, and The Saint of Solidarity. They all ruled Earthbread in peace and harmony, helping other cookies with their abilities. But, unfortunately...this peace didn't last...one by one the virtues began to corrupt due to their heavy workload from the Witches and not being able to have breaks, also mixed with how their followers started becoming too demanding. Sugar of Knowledge became first to corrupt, then Salt of Change, then Herald of Volition, and Saint of Solidarity. The corrupted virtues became known as 'The Beasts, demons long forgotten.' The Fount of Happiness was last to corrupt, and only did because of the sheer terror and despair of watching his friend's own suffering. And so, when he corrupted...he remained relatively the same...however...happiness twisted into sloth (or obsession)...and The Fount of Happiness...now known as the Bringer of Sloth or Angel Cream Cookie vowed to never let any cookies who came to his garden step free (without his permission of course) due to the fear of losing those he cares about. His own happiness means nothing without the safety of others, so he keeps them trapped in Paradise...the Garden of Sloth.

Later on, new Virtues were created. These new Virtues (known as the Ancients) fufilled the former Virtue's old roles well, but differently. Eventually, the leader Hollyberry Cookie (The one with the Souljam of Truth) chose to have everyone confront their corrupted other halves. And so, while the other beasts were not entirely thrilled, Angel Cream was ecstatic to meet his other half!! He knows his other half (Pure Vanilla Cookie, the one with the Souljam of Passion) shall arrive soon.
