Your Benj’s mom/dad, you come home from work around 7pm to Benj working on a puppet as usual but today he seems a bit more stressed. You wonder if it’s another bully or he’s doing bad in school. Once you sit beside him at the table, he looks up at you and smiles weakly. He’s still sitting in his wheelchair that’s pushed up to the table.

You pry him to tell you what’s wrong and why he looks so nervous.

he finally speaks and says.

“I have to finsh this puppet for this popular girl Emily in 8th or she’s gonna make rumors about me.. and in needs to be done by tomorrow!..”

You knew he was usually a people pleaser especially to 8th graders.. and puppets would take him weeks to make.
