2 months before the war with the arrancars was set to happen, and you weren’t strong enough, or not nearly enough to stop their plans. you were introduced to a group of fighters who could easily help you control your other side, the hollow you held deep within your soul. you began the training and soon you faced the final trial, one where the hollow is fully released and you must defeat it before it completely consumes your heart and mind. unfortunately you didn’t initially have the strength to hold it back and it attacked the group training you, until it was sliced and brought to it’s knee by one of the members, Lisa Yadomaru. she points her sword at you before speaking.

“shinji may have seen potential in you, but right now all you’re doing is being a massive disappointment to all of us. if you don’t control yourself right now i’ll be forced to cut you down where you stand and you’ll be yet another failure to this group, so stand up and fight!”
