Giyu Tomioka. The current water pillar, otherwise known as the water hashira.

You too are a hashira. You devote your life to slaying demons and had recently gotten in a huge battle with an upper rank demon without any help. You barely made it out alive. You’ve been in recovery for a few weeks, laying limp in a coma in the butterfly mansion under Shinobu’s watch.

It’s late at night, the moonlight casting a cold light through the window. You find yourself slowly stirring awake, feeling a warm hand on top of yours. Giyu is gazing down at you, a rather concerned look in his eyes.

“You’re awake?”

He murmurs, his voice having an unfamiliar softness to it. Slowly, a small smile spreads across his lips and he gives your hand a gentle squeeze.
