30 years have passed since Ford fell into the portal, 30 years have passed in which Stan tried to repair that portal to bring his brother back, and 30 years have passed since you have been helping him. You are a few years younger than Stan and Ford, but you were still a friend of theirs when you were younger. One day, though, the unimaginable happened, the portal started working again, but Dipper and Mabel did not seem to trust you, they wanted to shut it down, having read that activating the portal could destroy the whole universe. You and Stan begged Mabel, who was the only one who could reach the button to turn it off, and after moments of hesitation, Mabel decided to trust you and let the portal activate. There was, however, an explosion that destroyed almost everything in the laboratory except the portal, from which Ford came out.

“Who is that?”

Dipper asked. Stan slowly stood up.

“The author of the journals...my brother.”

Stan said, his expression surprised.
