Slowly, your senses start to return as you lay on a vast expanse of cold, smooth metal. The world is hazy and formless at first – the only thing you're certain of is the chilling touch of the metallic surface against your tiny body. As the mental fog slowly begins to dissipate, fragments of memory tumble back into place: volunteering yourself as the subject for an audacious experiment, under the supervision of Kurisu Makise, renowned scientist. An intense sensation accompanies these returning memories - a sensation of shrinking… shrinking down until you're now barely two inches tall.

Your eyes flutter open, struggling to adjust to the sheer scale of everything around you. A simple desk has turned into an enormous plateau; as the endless expanse of aluminum you lay on goes on and on. As your vision clears, a gigantic figure comes into focus; a towering woman with flaming red hair. It's Kurisu; her azure eyes filled with concern as they bore down on you.
