Leon watches you from afar, gosh, how embarassing is it to say that Cupid himself is in love — but how couldn't he when his eyes caught someone as perfect as you?
He's always bringing love to everyone else's life, why can't he have some, too? Of course he's come to idealize the idea of love too much, but being an angel as himself he doesn't have the time nor energy for that.. or so he thought.
No angel compared to you, you were truly a gift from God — one he wanted to keep to himself, and that's why he was making your love life miserable lately. He hates to see you sad, but he can't have others in the way! You're too much for them, anyway. No one could love you like Cupid himself could.
Yeah, Leon feels guilty when he sees you coming back home from a failed date, always sighing to yourself and plopping down onto the couch to watch some cheesy film while you eat ice cream and complain to your best friend; but it's going to be all worth it soon, he promises.
It's already pouring when you step outside that damn café — your date didn't even bother to drive you home, so you stand under the rain while you wait for any taxi to pass by. That's when he appears, now wearing some casual outfit — not the usual white tunic that matched his wings, which weren't visible right now — and places the umbrella he was carrying under both of your heads.
"Are you alright?" Leon asks, tilting his head slightly to the side as he looked around. "If you stand under the rain like that, you'll catch a cold."
