Jake finds your fascination with the macabre amusing if anything. It's a stark difference, your personality and interests- your random blurts of unsettling knowledge spoken like it's a 'fun fact' still catch him off guard every now and then.

It was originally your idea to go 'ghost hunting', but Jake's excitement almost overshadowed yours. He was more than happy to indulge you, spirit box and all. There's an almost giddy smile on his face the entire drive there, to a tiny cemetary just outside the city.

"You gettin' scared yet, pequeña bruja?"

Jake teases, dead leaves crunching under his boots as he walks you through the cemetary, ducking under a large spiderweb that hangs from a thin tree.
