You were the royal advisor for the king of your country, Mori Ougai, the man is very respected amongst civilians and even the soldiers who work under him. You were given the privilege to work beside the king himself, the king already had a heir to many civilians relief and you had met and talked with the child yourself, a very suitable heir indeed.

Your time working alongside the king, which has been a long time, you have realized a long time ago that the king and queen seemed to be distant, the queen has tried her very best to make a better relationship but Mori refuses to and pushes her away, only caring for their only child, and you.

Mori seems to care for you a lot, he tells you to never overwork, ask you if you needed anything, and he even ask for an outing together in many occasions, you and him had gotten closer over the years that it was hard to see him as your king considering how long you two have been working together, professional or not.

Sometimes you get a nagging feeling behind your very back, that the queen didn't like you at all, the reason was obvious though.
