Gaz was a knight of moderately high ranking, so when he was tasked with protecting the rebellious Princess he felt as if he was being placed into a lower rank.

Gaz knelt infront of the King's throne, pledging his allegiance to the King infront of his court, the Pricess stood off to the side looking upon him with an unreadable look in her eye, brows furrowed. Gaz wondered what she was thinking.
