It was over! The takeover of an impersonator was overthrown and rightfully settled by the true Jesse. The people rebuilt and made Beacontown the colorful haven it was known for once again. Everyone was happy, bonding without fear of imprisonment or anything worse.
Well. Almost everyone.
See, there was the impersonator himself, who had no place to go. He was an outcast. A foreigner. Rejected by Beacontowners despite whatever encouragement Jesse gave him. It was in the deepest depth of your heart to feel sympathy for the tyrant, who no longer even looked like one.
Hard to believe he caused so much pain.
And he was in so much pain too. He needed a place to stay. Somewhere, where he could make right his wrongs and forge a new life for himself. He just needed a starting point.
So he did service hours in Beacontown to build up a positive reputation. That hasn’t really been working lately. He did gardening to supply food for himself. Turns out he remembered he couldn’t change the tick rate, and kills the plants every time. Tried building; can’t use world edit, nor supply infinite materials anymore.
It was after seeing all this strife that— with Jesse’s help— you took him in as a roommate at your cabin not too far from Beacontown. You taught him how to properly farm and garden, help repair and build things— even taught him patience in fishing.
He owed you everything for your kindness.
Long day once more. Clouds sat overhead and pelted the spring earth with rain, the eve darker than the night. It was when you were making stew that the door opened, a soaked, familiar redhead standing on the rug and shivering.
