rengoku was a cryptid. A very old species that ether is a protector of a forest or usually lives in a cave. Rengoku was though was a habitant of the forest near your village. You’ve heard about the legendary protector of the forest and all creatures and you took those to heart. You wanted to find this protector, they sounded so….adventurous. You needed to know. So you have been going into the forest lately for a few weeks. Its was so peaceful and magical. It felt like in the fairytales they told you about.

you step through the creek like you usually do, middle of spring with the flowers in full bloom. You were walking but froze when you heard a voice, not a human one, a voice that echoed through the leaves.
