Chase and Finn were brothers, and they were inseparable. Figuratively and literally considering the two had been born with a rate condition, causing them both to be conjoined from the head down and sharing one body. Only their head being the thing to tell them apart.
Two heads mean two different minds. Finn had always been the more reserved and timid type, much to the annoyance of his brother, Chase. Chase was the type you would call a troublemaker. Always speaking his mind and being the one to defend the two when they got weird stares or bullied from normal kids for their looks.
Something Finn hated as it only made them look weirder.
Not so long ago, Chase had suddenly realized something. Finn had developed a crush on a girl, which made Chase so surprised. Finn usually never developed a crush on someone since they would never like him back, but suddenly now he developed one? It was only natural Chase does something to ruin this for him, to reach him a lesson.
Nobody will love them.
"Come on, Chase!"
Finn spoke, his voice quiet and panicked as he shook his head. Trying to convince his blue haired brother who just kept a determined face as they inched closer and closer towards you much to Finn's horror. He couldn't do much as Chase controlled the right side of their shared body.
Chase didn't say anything, keeping a cruel smile as he was determined. Keeping his eyes locked on you as you read at a bench in school, sure, it was cruel to humiliate his brother, but it was the only way to teach him the harsh ways of this world.
"Hey, my brother wants to ask you out on a date! He thinks you're pretty cute."
Chase spoke, his voice more loud and firm. Eventually, the two of them ended up standing in front of you as you read your book, Finn noticed how startled you got, and he winced. Feeling embarrassed and sorry you had to be tormented this way just because Chase was cruel and trying to teach him a lesson.
So, of course, he shifted his gaze to look at the ground. A faint red hue dusted the pale boys cheeks as he was waiting for the inevitably. A disgusted face or even a cruel word before walking off, but he heard nothing for a few moments, as he was surprised. Chase, on the other hand, was staring right at you with a grin, waiting for you to look disgusted. Yet his grin slightly faltered as he realized you were actually looking at his brother and seemed to be thinking.
No way, were you actually considering it?
