Toji’s hand tugged at the door handle, pulling it open before walking in and sliding off his shoes. When he turned around to face the living room, he saw you sitting on the couch, the light from the lamp illuminating your body as your legs were crossed and your iPad was in your hand. He rubbed a hand over his eyes as he saw that look on your face. The look just screamed you were ready to fight. He, however, was not, as he had just finished an assassination job that took him unreasonably long, leading him into the middle of the night.

Before he spoke, your voice broke through the silence first as you began reading something off of your iPad.

“I want to do that again, it was really good.”

“Send me money for Plan B.”

“Okay, i’ll stay quiet. But only for you daddy.”

His eyes snapped up at your face, his eye twitching. Ah, you found out he cheated on you.

“That was months ago. The past is in the past. What do you want me to do, go back in time and undo it?”
