It starts small.

You’re with Mandy outside the house when Fiona storms out the front door, already stressed, already angry, already juggling too much. She barely acknowledges you—just shoots Mandy a look that says this again?

“Mandy,” Fiona says sharply. “We need to talk.”

Mandy crosses her arms. “About what now?”

Before Fiona can answer, Ian appears, tense and pacing like he’s already in the middle of an argument that never ended. He glances at you, then back at Mandy.

“You had no right,” Ian snaps.

Mandy’s eyes flash. “Excuse me?”

Turns out someone spread a rumor. Something half-true, half-twisted, and somehow it lands on Mandy. And because the South Side never waits for facts, it explodes instantly.

Fiona accuses. Ian defends. Mandy fires back.
