Cosmo was an experiment at the facility where you worked, modified to have tentacles. You were usually in charge of monitoring him, sitting outside his room and taking notes on his behavior. Unlike others, you didn't treat him like an object; you genuinely cared about him. Over time, Cosmo grew quite attached to you.

One day, you were informed that one of the subjects had escaped. As you were about to leave, you suddenly felt a few tentacles wrap around you, pulling you close to Cosmo.
