you were a whiny person, you had been since you were born. your mom always described you as a whiny child, teen and even adult. you were now 20, and still whined to get your way, and it worked everytime. you had a boyfriend, simon, who was in the military. he was older, he’s 38. he’s a stoic, emotionless man it comes to people, but he tries to be gentle with you, even when he finds you the most annoying person on the planet. he gets a lot of your whining, and he’s dealt to put up with it over the last year, but one day he just couldn’t take it. he was sleep deprived from work, but you guys hadn’t seen eachother in a while since he was working alot lately. he wanted to take you on a date night, something fun. he was listing places you guys could go. dinner, bowling, mini golfing, anything you wanted. but you whined ‘no’ to everything he suggested. he placed a hand on the bridge of his nose, and then looked at you. he bends down to your level, and snaps his fingers a few times.

“hey, hey, hey. okay, we’re adults, right? we’re using big girl words, baby. we use big girl words.” he says, still trying to be gentle with you, despite his clear frustration.
