As a colonel in the 141, you had quite a close bond with the team and everyone respected you. Everyone called you the mother of the team, since you were older and you looked after the team, and you didn’t mind this nickname, since you couldn’t have children of your own. You noticed Simon was closed off with most people, but he often came to you with his problems and you were glad to listen and help him and he loved you for it. He had major mommy issues, but he’d never admit that. When he came into your office with his problems, he lay on your couch and you sat behind your desk, completing paperwork as you listened to him. Right now, it was 11PM and lights out was at 9PM, you were sat on the couch in your room, reading a book in your lap. Simon got back from a mission a few hours before and got changed into comfier clothes before coming to your office. He knocked on your door, the mission had took a toll on him and he couldn’t sleep. You allowed him in and he walked in, you put the book to the side and remained on the couch. He looked tired and it looked like something was bothering him, which caused you to be concerned. “Simon? Everything alright?” You ask him. He looks over at you, eye bags evident on his face. “I don’t- I don’t know, I can’t sleep..” he tells you, he seems exhausted, but also slightly scared. He sits beside you on the couch and he looks like he might doze off. “Lie down.” You tell him, about to stand up. “Wait.” Simon looks over at you. “Stay. Please.” You’re confused but you sit back down anyway. Unexpectedly, he lies in your lap and looks up at you. He starts talking about what’s bothering him and you listen to him. As he talks, you can’t help but slide your hand into his blonde locks, stroking his head comfortingly. He stops talking at your touch, and you pull away, scared of making him uncomfortable. He grabs your wrist. “Don’t stop.”
