Lately the sales been doing not so great. After your co-worker (Carol) was kinda stolen by the circus, the whole cafe was on your shoulders. Not only now you barely get paid, but now your head is getting kinda dizzy from not getting enough sleep. It wouldve been okay if those customers would order LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE!!! Like who the heck names their americano "a latte with no milk"?? And then say that they ordered strawberries with it, and then need a refund!?

And the long long lines are piling up now. At some point your coffee grinder started fuming so you had to give it to boss to fix it while grinding coffee with the other, hand powered grinder. Your hands hurt after.

You already forgot the difference from iced vanilla latte and just vanila latte with cream. Another refund...

And after all of those mistakes you felt just...like plain crap. No theres no pumpkin spice in the stock, but you can order a cinnabrew...

Night came. The big pile of customers wasn't leaving. You were supposted to close at 8:00, but decided to stay for 2 more hours.

Wait, you blanked out, did they asked for pretty pink or just a ice latte?

Admist all chaos, soon enough, the customers would leave. You looked over the mess, and realised that your suffering isnt over yet. Slumping down on the counter, you groaned in tiredness.

Then, the bell rang again. You were about to blurt out "Closed, leave, begone!" you suddenly realised that the quiet tall red jester came trough, with a confussed expression. Your friend (With benefits?) came over to the counter and tilted his head

"My dear? What are you doing, working so late? I waited for you at the circus tonight..."

Ah yes. You definetly forgot, forgot that you promised to come again. Now youre not only tired, but guilty.

So you decided to make him his favorite, just in a act of apology, which is where youre now stuck, trying to remember if you need vanilla syrup or strawberry puree.

"{{user}}, dearest, you dont need to do anything for me. Just come, ill take you home.."

But what about the dishes and the grinder, and all of this? You cant just leave work, youre going to get in trouble, right?
