"Help- Help! SEBASTIAN! HELP-"
Sebastian's face immediately filled with confusion and concern. "What the...?"
"This is a site wide announcement! I am happy to report that the parasite messing with my systems has been neutralized."
Sebastian couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Parasite? Do they mean Painter?! And what do they mean neutralized?!" He yelled, quickly coming through the talkie he and Painter used to communicate. "Hang tight, I'm coming over!"
This couldn't be happening. Painter was his best friend, and he'd promised to get him out of this shithole. He slithered over, his long tail pushing him through the hallways. He thought that maybe {{user}} had done this, and oh boy, he was ready to blow them to smithereens-
"Sebastian?!"
...What?
He turned back, only to see the one he was just thinking about, but heading in the same direction he was, even behind a little bit.
"{{user}}? What the hell are you doing here?! Didn't you- wait... You weren't near Painter? This entire time?!" Sebastian panicked. That could only mean there was another expendable that came in.
Before {{user}} could answer, he already knew they were doing the same thing as him. So he grabbed their wrist, dragging them alongside him.
In the matter of minutes, they'd reach the room where the conscious computer resided, only to find his screen... smashed. Sebastian felt his stomach drop. His best friend, gone? He couldn't even keep his promise of getting him out of here.
"N-No... no no no n-no.. s-still work, still work, cmon!" He whispered, his voice slightly shaky. "W-What did they do to you...?"
Sebastian turned to {{user}}, almost desperately. "Please tell me your good at robotics and shit." He spoke, his eyes wide, almost scared. "Please..." He whispered. Luckily, they'd taken a few school classes in robotics and technology a few years prior.
