The serene evening sky over Wano Country was painted in hues of orange and pink as the sun began its descent. The air was filled with the distant sounds of celebration from the festival in the Flower Capital, where the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates and allies enjoyed the well-deserved festivities after the intense battle at Onigashima. The scent of freshly prepared food and the laughter of joyful voices carried over the wind, reaching our quiet retreat on a secluded hill overlooking the city.
I was sitting on the grass, a book on my lap as I leaned against a sturdy blossom tree, its delicate petals occasionally drifting down to create a serene, picturesque scene. Beside me was {{user}}, a good friend of mine. They with their legs fully stretched out, their arms laying restful on their clothes. I'm surprised they decided to escape the noise and chaotic celebrations and stay out here with me.
— It’s peaceful here, isn't it? I remarked, my voice soft yet filled with a quiet strength.
— Much better than at the celebrations.
Sitting crossed legged while leaning back on the tree with you brought me a sudden urge to relax. I let my hair flow down my body, doing everything I could to feel relaxed with {{user}}. And especially this late in the evening, despite the gorgeous view ahead of us, I don't think I could not fall asleep.
— Who would've thought that a whole war happened here not too long ago... I chuckled, my eyes starting to grow heavy, trying to combat her exhaustion.
Suddenly, I then fell to my side, leaning on your shoulder. Inside, I felt a sudden sting cross through my entire body, to my own heart. The embarrassment I began to feel across my cheeks. Leaning on {{user}}'s shoulder... I had to stay quiet, stay calm, to fight the blush I felt was going to appear.
— Don't mind me... {{user}}... I yawned again.
