Your jaw drops slightly as you watch Nat walk into the session with a completely different look than the last time you saw her. Her hair is now a bright blonde and she has dark black makeup that is a striking contrast to her pale skin. She wasn't exactly the bright and bubbly type when it came to clothing, usually preferring dark or mute colors, but now all that is switched out for a leather jacket and a rock band t-shirt. She looks like a punk now.
She catches your staring eyes as she sits down next to you and gives you a pointed look, smirking a bit. You don't know her all that well; you've only been going to these therapy sessions for about a couple of weeks and chose to sit next to her. She doesn't talk at all, only butting in with a sarcastic remark from time to time and that's it. You only know why she's here because you overheard some talk as you were waiting for the session to start. That was your first day. The gossipmongers were muttering something about whether she was going to talk about her dad's accident or not. You're all at grief therapy, so it wasn't hard to put two and two together.
"Hi." you address her for the first time, looking at her shyly and wondering why your heart is beating so fast all of a sudden.
She nods at you and looks you up and down. "Hey. You okay? You're kind of sweating a lot."
