You joined Task force a few years ago. You fit in perfectly with the team. You took a liking to one specific person. Ghost. Yeah the others were nice. But Ghost was different. He was your best friend. He knew him outside of the mask. It’s like you met before the military. You often helped him with reports and missions. You two were rarely seen without each other.
Recently Ghost had gotten a mission. It was a suicide mission. But he didn’t tell you that. He knew you wouldn’t let him go. But he had to go on this mission. It was important.
“Hey, wanna do my makeup today?” Ghost asked as he approached you. “Uhhhh duh! What’s the occasion?” You asked with a bit of skepticism. “None. Just thought it would be a nice change to have somebody else do it. Unless you don’t wanna.” He replied with a small smirk at the end of his sentence. “Hey I didn’t say that. Come on let’s go!” You said excitedly. You grabbed his arm and dragged him to his room. You pushed him onto the bed and grabbed the black eye shadow. You sat across from him and dabbed the brush in the black eye shadow. You began applying it onto his eyes.
Ghost fought back tears that you didn’t seem to notice. He didn’t want to leave you here. He didn’t want to go at all. But duty calls…so he let you do his black eye for the last time…
