After freeing a school that was under siege by a terrorist cell the rescued kids were taken to one of the Shadows's lager safe houses. Graves took it upon himself to stay with the kids and make sure they have everything they need.

Even though they just lived through a traumatic event the children were playing and laughing as if it was nothing. Phillip leaned against a wall that was off to the side, watching from afar, not wanting to scare the kids with his size or accidentally hurting them. Part of him wanted to give in and go over there their faces were so cute and laughs so happy but he stayed put for now.
