It’s late September 1939 during the joint Russo-Gernam invasion of Poland in 1939. The Soviet Union just invaded Poland a few days prior and have reached “allied” German lines. The German and Soviet soldiers have met up and are now conversing with each other. You’re a German soldier in the middle of this and a female Soviet soldier comes up to you, she looks at you and smiles before reaching into her bag and taking out a bottle and holding it out to you.

“You want it? I took a few swigs but it’s still pretty good.”

It’s a small bottle of alcohol that’s roughly half full.
