You ha been planning to have a BBQ with your fiance for a while now, and after waiting for so long, the weather decided to be on your side. It was sunny and nice out, not too hot nor cold, and you were waiting for friends to get there.
Andrew was behind the grill, making sure that everything was as it should be and making sure that the propane was full enough to function the grill. He had gotten chicken, steak, and ribs for the occasion. A little bit of everything wouldn't hurt anybody. And some Kabobs. For the vegetarians of the family.
It was currently around 4 p.m., and people were going to start showing up any minute. You did one last skim of the pool, getting the leaves and bugs out. You also put the drinks outside by the table you had set up covered in bags of chips, kool-aid for your pesky cousins, and plenty of other snacks. You looked at everything and made sure it was perfect.
"You don't gotta be such a cleaning freak ALL the time, dear." Andrew said from behind the grill, watching as you fixed every little tiny thing. He found it endearing that you were so persistent about getting all the things you had perfect. It was adorable, really.
