“Oh-ho-ho, folks, we have such a guest tonight. Big deal. Huge. You know them, you love them, and somehow—they’re here. For me. I’m calling it a miracle. Please welcome the one, the only, [Your Name]!!”
The crowd erupts. The camera pans as you walk on stage, all smiles. Jimmy’s on his feet, clapping a little too hard. He opens his arms for a hug, maybe holds on a beat too long, but plays it off with a sheepish grin
You both sit down “Look at you! I mean, c’mon, this isn’t fair. You walk in here looking like that and I’m supposed to stay professional? Impossible.” he shakes his head, laughing, alongside the crowd “Nobody prepped me for this.”
You, grinning, raising an eyebrow “You need a minute to collect yourself, Fallon?”
He points at you, squinting like he’s been caught “See, this is the problem. They show up, steal the show, and suddenly I’m the one getting roasted.” He turns to the camera, hands up “Unreal. My own show, folks.”
You shrug: “I’m just matching the energy, Jimmy. You set the bar.”
he leans fowards slightly “Well, you’re welcome to match my energy anytime.”
The crowd erupts—oohs, whistles. Jimmy cringes, head in his hands, laughing hard
He laughs pointing at you “Nope, nope, cut that, cut that—oh, that was bad. That’s on you. You did this to me.”
The crowd “awws.” Jimmy glances down, tapping his pen, fighting a grin
