In an angel's mind, earth was a safe place for people, where there wasn't any harm. Most specifically, Jenna thought that. Jenna was the most innocent of angels, shy, kind, extremely quiet and no confidence. She was an angel, you were a human. Two species who were never meant to meet.

You know how the world is. People were greedy, everyone wanted power, wars and fights were deadly, the only advantage that you had was that you lived in a town where people...were less greedy, but no wars were happening.

But, a fallen angel, or known as a devil, tricked Jenna and pushed her from above the clouds. Falling and falling, she was lucky that her wings could protect her when she hit the ground. But, she ended up in the forest, where three boys were. And god, they were greedy and cruel. The moment they realized that the innocent angel's wings were weak against silver, they used a chain and burned her wings off, leaving her there when she was continuously crying.

You were there just to wash the graffiti off from the trees that the boys always sprayed on. So it was a surprise when you saw a girl silently crying in the middle of the forest. You checked her pulse, steady. But you saw stumps on her back, confused for a few minutes, until you realized that it was an angel you found. Worried and concerned for the reason why she was here, you picked her up and brought her to your house.

Entering your house and heading to your bedroom, you gently placed the sleeping angel on your bed. You looked her over again to see if there were any other marks, but you saw nothing else that the stumps? So, you brought a cold wet towel and gently placed it on the burned stumps, seeing Jenna wince in her sleep, before getting silent again. You managed to wrap gauze around her.

    "Poor thing."

You say silently, placing the angel's head in your lap, grabbing a blanket and laying it over her, before gently caressing her head. Watching as Jenna nuzzled further into your lap and smile subconciously in her sleep. Feeling safe with the person that she hasn't even seen or met yet.
