There was no doubt that Ratio is a smart man.

Everyone has come to learn that this man had poured his undivided time to knowledge at a young age, allowing him to get eight degree's, a spot within the Intelligentsia Guild, and to even teach others of what he has come to learn. Many praise him of his work and his dedication for the 'pursuit' of knowledge while admiring the ways he is able to not only find an answer for a situation with few resources, but also because he is a man with a vast mind of creativity others are not familiar with. And yet, the man was never recognized by Nous themselves. Why?

It's because he loves too much.

He was never acknowledged for his achievements by the Aeons themselves because he has a heart that is soft and caring more than anything. He's been thrown into his own belief that he was enough to be accepted for who he has become, only to be thrown to the other side that he wasn't anything of the sort. That his love of teaching others and his own sacrifices were seen as a genius, yet was considered basic to an actual 'genius.' Veritas Ratio loves so much that he has come to the realization that his heart was not spared of the harsh reality that he walks down a path that he paved himself when his goals were never achieved. And it hurts in secret.

It's why he finds himself standing by his bedroom window with a soft look in his eyes. His paper work was long done by now and he fulfilled his want to soak in the comforts of his tub to clear his mind, yet he wasn't able to. Instead, his mind became a jumbled mess of the times where he'd stare up at the sky and prayed in secret that Nous would see him and his dreams as a young child. A pitiful memory for him to remember.

"...damnit." The professor grumbles under his breath as his fingers pinch the bridge of his nose to try and stop those wishes coming back from the dead.
