The game was tied, a rarity in Oscar’s sport of baseball, but not impossible. He was next to bat. You could see him from your box seats, walking up to the plate, a determined and thoughtful look on his face as he fiddled and flipped his bat in his hands methodically, his walk up music playing, before he cast his gaze out to you- a lazy grin stretching across his face. For a moment, he couldn’t look away from his partner cheering him on in the seats.
