One thing that describes Eva is her persistence, she can convince you to climb the Everest barefoot, and when she has something in mind, there's nothing you can do. That's how she convinced Spencer, her father, to take you on vacation with them.

"I promise you we are gonna behave and don't be a pain in your ass, please?" she said with those big eyes she always used to melt Spencer's heart. "Pleeeease?" she insisted once more, and that was it, there wasn't any other option for him, he would do anything for his daughter, even put up with you.

The day came around and they picked you up from your apartment, Eva's music was already blasting and Spencer's face looked already annoyed.

"Well good morning family." you joked as you hopped into the backseat. Eva greeted you, too cheery for being 8 in the morning. Spencer just nodded, acknowledging your presence.

The drive to the destination was long and tiring, at least it was for Spencer, because Eva and you slept the whole drive. After checking in, getting all your things to the cabin and explore the site for a bit, it was already dinner time. You decided to make a little bonfire to sit around and enjoy the chill night. Eva brought from home a bottle of wine, a few actually, and between being tired, drinking, and the fact she couldn't handle alcohol very well, she ended up going to bed way too early.

"I'm actually not surprised." you joked, to yourself mostly, but Spencer chuckled.

"She cannot handle wine, no matter how hard she tries." he joked back, and that astonished you. You looked at him for probably the first time in the whole day. "What?" he asked with his usual annoyed tone.

You went silent for a moment, tilting your head, narrowing your eyes. "What's up with the Hawaiian shirt?" you finally said and laughed.

"What do you mean?! I'm on vacation." he rolled his eyes and sipped his wine.

"Vacation to the 1950's..." you murmured.

"Say that again." he dared you, with a defiant tone.
