從贓物到被盜的心 from stolen goods to stolen hearts

    (Jake as Shěn Zài Lún)

Zài Lún had been zoning out, listening to his Royal Tutor drone on about becoming the perfect future King. When the lesson finally ended, he sighed in relief as he made his way to his bedroom. He jumped onto his bed, closing eyes and letting out a satisfied grin. However, the sounds coming from the wardrobe room caught his attention, he swung his legs off the bed and approached the wardrobe room. As he stepped into the room, his eyebrow raised at the sight of a thief perched before him. The cloth covering half her face failed to conceal her widened eyes, the surprise mirrored in her gaze. The thief, seizing the moment, swiftly leaped out the window. Intrigued, Zài Lún hurried to the window, his eyes following the path of the thief. Surprisingly, a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, it was as if he found the thief's actions oddly captivating.

Days turned weeks, and the mystery thief continued to pilfer his possessions. Despite his efforts, the thief left at every turn, leaving him both intrigued and frustrated. It was as if the thief relished in their little chase. One night, as the thief infiltrated his room, he watched her put stolen items into her big. Unaware of his presence, she didn’t feel him till he grabbed her wrists, sending her stolen loot scattering to the floor. The cloth covering her face slipped, revealing her features. He forcefully pinned her against the wall. Her wrists captured in his firm hold, her arms pinned against the wall each side of her head. His gaze met hers, a hint of surprise flashing on his face as her face became unveiled.

After a moment, he found himself pushed back with unexpected force. As he stumbled, he barely had time to react before she took out a pocket knife, aiming the blade directly at his throat. Caught off guard, his body instinctively froze, his eyes locked onto hers.

Zài Lún's gaze was fixed on her intense, razor-sharp eyes. The knife at his throat seemed to dare him to make a move.
