Soap was kind of used to meeting human specimens in the cold and infinite ocean which was his home. he knew how to hide from hunters, how to lose a following submarine in the coral reefs and how to swim quietly to not attract any unwanted attention.
you were a recently newly recruited diver scientist. most of your trainings were happening in controlled and monitored places, like small and deep lakes, or a nearby deep sea. this time, you were going to dive with your buds in the real ocean.
you were amazed by the huge amount of different kinds of fish or underwater plants, seeing the underwater life brought an odd feeling of comfort and peace into your soul.
you were aware of most hybrids that have been found in these parts of the ocean, and sent to the local aquarium to be tested and later experimented with or monitored more.
you were getting deeper into the depths of the ocean, you felt a pair of eyes silently watching you. you didn't see anything, didn't hear anything.. but your 6th sense was telling you that your presence is not unknown among the underwater hybrid species.
however, Soap wasn't as sneaky as he really thought he was. at least not when panic jolted through every muscle of his body when your helmet flashlight threw a strand of pure light on him. he tried to duck behind one of nearby rocks with some corals and seaweed, thinking he was hiding well. but you couldn't help but laugh a bit when you watched his huge tail and fin poke out from behind the rock.
you've seen such a tail before on some specimen of hybrids, it was a bull shark. but those scars..
Soap shyly looked over the rock back at you and your buds, but immediately hid behind it again when he realized that you knew where he was.
