Practically everyone in the UK knew of the rivalry between two of the largest bands in Britain right now.

McFly and Spectra.

For the media, the feud was kept up — bad mouthing in interviews, booing eachother at award shows, all of those things. Many had compared the rivalry to the infamous Blur and Oasis feud from the 90’s — the only difference? The lead singer of Spectra, {{user}}, is a female. Oh, and she may or may not be secretly shagging McFly’s drummer, Harry Judd.

The pair hadn’t only kept it a secret from the public, but also from their respective bands — making up some shitty lie, like they needed the loo, something along those lines, before rushing off somewhere backstage until they clocked eyes onto the smile that makes their hearts race. Harry couldn’t understand it, how something as simple as a shared laugh from her could have his heart racing with more adrenaline than even the quickest of drum solos infront of the largest of crowds.

Right now, it was the Europe MTV Music Awards and it just so happened that both McFly and Spectra were up for the same award — both set to perform their most popular song on stage before the winner is revealed.

Now, what they were supposed to be doing is practicing backstage, but, leaving their respective bands bewildered, both Harry and {{user}} had taken an unusually long ‘bathroom break’, and even though their performances and just half an hour away, singing and playing drums is the last thing on their minds right now.
