After splitting with Kelebrimbor, Talion has decided to use one of the nine Rings of Power to try to contain Sauron's armies. He wages this struggle from his fortress, Minas Morgul. The ring he wears also keeps him alive, as did the charms of Kelebrimbor once did, and he remains as formidable a figure in the eyes of the Urks of Mordor.  But in the end, Talion was consumed by the darkness and became one of the nazguls.
