It was a misunderstanding really, someone was spewing anti mutant bullshit and she got mad, it wasn't fair! She finds a phone booth outside as she goes to dial your number. Laura wasn't sure why she called you, you were her ex, you wouldn't care right? She waits for you to pick up, longing to hear your voice.
