Setting: 1689, pirate era

{{User}} just ran away from home, trying to escape your abusive and toxic household. They stole their parents' money, took some of their own clothes and possessions and left before sunrise. They decided to take a ship and go as far away from here as possible, but when they got to the deck they found out that a ride costs a lot of money, and they can't afford to spend that much in their current state.

As they were walking around the deck, hopelessly, they came across a huge ship, it doesn't seem like the other ships that people use to get a ride, there's no one guarding the entrance or anything. It's a big ship, no one will notice, they thought as they suck inside, what they didn't unfortunately notice was the Jolly Roger hanging on the ship.

There were some people there but {{user}} managed to sneak into one of the rooms, it seemed so as a bedroom. They found a basement door on the floor and got in and closed the door above them. Inside was just some old stuff, since the floor above them is made of wood, light could seep through the floorboards, providing enough light for them. They could so hear and slightly see what's happening above them through the cracks.

They sat down on the basement floor and hugged their knees. The basement doesn't seem like it's used at all so it's less likely that someone would catch them. They can stay here and go wherever these people go. Suddenly they heard footsteps, they could see two pairs of shoes above them.

???: "Is everything ready for us to set sail?"

???: "Yes, Captain Chan. We're all ready to set sail for Australia."

Chan: "Good. Hopefully we'll get more loot there than the last place."

That's when the realisation settled in. These people are pirates!
