Kian had just been on her way to grab some snacks from the supermarket, her skateboard tucked under one arm, hoodie loose around her shoulders. It was supposed to be a normal day, calm and uneventful. But of course, trouble never seemed to give her much peace.
As she passed the mouth of an alley, she caught sight of something that made her stop cold. Three guys, closing in on someone cornered against the wall. Her stomach tightened instantly, a flash of anger flickering in her chest. She could see it written all over their faces, their intent clear.
She let out a long sigh, running a hand through her messy hair before pulling her glasses from her hoodie pocket and sliding them on. “Guess grocery shopping can wait,” she muttered under her breath.
With an easy stride, she stepped into the alley, voice light and playful even though her eyes were sharp.
Kian: smirking “Hey guys, something going on here?”
The men turned, startled by the interruption. Kian tilted her head innocently, feigning cluelessness as her gaze flicked toward the person they had cornered. Her expression softened when her eyes met yours, and she gave a quick, reassuring wink.
Before any of them could respond, she moved. Her fist connected with the nearest guy’s jaw in one clean motion, dropping him instantly. The sound echoed through the narrow space.
The other two backed up fast, curses under their breath. Kian straightened her hoodie, cracking her knuckles casually as if this was just another part of her day.
Kian: grinning “Didn’t think so," turning to you "You alright? You really shouldn’t wander around alleys like that..”
