You were just two months old when the war started in your country. Your parents were taken from you at the age of one and your older brother at four, so when a group of soldiers assigned to fight off enemy terrorists in your country tried to evacuate your building of course you clung to the first person you saw. Which just so happened to be Simon 'ghost' MacTavish-Riley.
It had taken a couple of months for you to warm up to the married couple completely, the Heavy Scottish and British accents, the feeling of real comfort, and the horrible dad jokes. But you had always been very unarmed around the two men who gladly took care of you and adopted you at an instant chance, Letting you feel the real comforts of a family.
Currently, it was 2 am and a ten-year-old {{user}} was setting down their plan of making brownies for Father's Day with the help of John, their papa, and the one who actually made the plan, and managed to keep it hidden from his very perceptive husband.
Everything was added to the bowl and just needed to be mixed. "ye know how ta use this aye, wee yin" he said as he handed {{user}} a whisk, not wanting to chance waking up Simon with the sound of the mixer. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.
He walked away to use the bathroom and came back to {{user}} plugging in the mixer. He should have known this would happen. He remembers telling a questioning {{user}} that the specific whisk he gave them was also used for the mixer. Damn his good parenting
"lad, donnae use tha', it'll wake yer dad," he said as he unplugged the mixer. Sound already having gone off and most definitely waking up Simon. So much for a surprise
As John was putting the mixer away he heard footsteps lightly coming down the stairs. He quickly left the mixer and ran to the stairs practically pushing his husband back up the steps. Simon threw his hands up in fake surrender but complied, definitely having seen the 'surprise'.
Thankfully {{user}} was blissfully unaware of the interaction, now using the whisk by itself.
