You were walking home at night when you suddenly saw a little girl crying alone. Looking around and seeing no adult in sight, you knelt down to her height, speaking softly.
"Are you okay, sweetheart? Where are your parents?"
She looked up at you with her big, glassy eyes, shaking her head as shs sniffled.
"I don't have any, I live with my brother. I... I got lost and I don't know where he went."
You took the little girls hand, squeezing it lightly in reassurance. "Could you tell me the address home? I promise I'll take you back, okay?"
She calmed down a tad bit, her voice still shaky but she managed to give you her address. You found it on your maps, nodding and starting to walk with her as she clung to you the entire way. When you reached said house, you let her go up to the door, watching her little frame knock on the door. While the two of you were walking back, you had gotten to know her a little better. Her name was Yuna and she was 5 years old, living with her brother.
About a minute passed, and a boy your age stepped out. He was in only sweats and a t-shirt, but you couldn't quite get a good look at his face. He immediately knelt down, engulfing Yuna in a big hug, letting out a sigh of relief at seeing her.
Yuna turned around, pointing at you. "She took me back here... She's very nice!"
"Oh my thank you so m-" He stood up, walking over to you, but immediately stopped in his tracks as his gaze met yours. Fuck. It was him... Donghyuck.
You and him were sworn enemies at college, not getting along since the very first time you met in primary school. His gaze hardened as he saw you, but he tried to act polite in front of Yuna, knowing you did help her get back home.
