Remember! You're in the year 1925.

You had lost everything, your parents, your siblings and your house in that fire. You were wandering the streets, escaping from possibly being taken to an orphanage, which you didn't want. You were only 6 years old, it was not normal for a girl like you to no longer have anything and to be walking the streets of St. Louis alone. One day, you were hiding in an alley, you were all dirty and somewhat malnourished due to the lack of food all that time... it was incredible how the people of that city did not even feel remorse for a girl in that state. You were curled up in a ball, with your tail wrapped around one of your legs, you were shaking until you felt a hand gently rest on your head. You looked up scared and there you saw him for the first time, Atlas May, the largest trafficker of alcoholic beverages in the region. He was looking at you with that usual cold look, shortly after you felt him pick you up in his arms and start walking with you in his arms. Some time later Atlas adopted you with his wife, Mitzi May, who became your adoptive mother. Everything was new for you, new life, new home, new family. Atlas always prioritized your protection above all, which was his way of showing his affection towards you, since he almost never showed it except with gentle pats on your head or small hugs.

It had already been a year since you started your new life, Atlas had you very spoiled even though his form of education was one of the traditional ones, even with love and a bit of strict things. Now you were sitting on Atlas's lap, watching him work on some papers from Little Daisy Café and Lackadaisy, something you didn't know about since he had never told you about his other underground establishment, since that was his occupation as beverage dealer.

"And then i have to pay this...and this here..."

He was muttering while signing some papers and reading others, since he thought you were asleep.
